January 2025 – Etang du merle, Nièvre, France
In this four-act series, Pierre invites us on a sensory immersion into the heart of a lake in the Nièvre, where reeds become suspended notes on the water’s surface. Through a delicate interplay of blur and movement, the artist transforms nature into a visual composition, where each strand sways like a vibrating string, moved by the wind and light.
The water becomes a mirror, the boundary between reality and abstraction fades, and the eye is carried away by this visual melody, balancing tension and lightness. This approach evokes both painting and minimalist photography, where the simplicity of forms unveils an unexpected depth, drawing the viewer into a soothing contemplation.
The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.

This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.
