At the temple Thien Hau or Temple of the Celestial Lady in Saigon, dedicated to Thiên Hậu, the patron goddess of navigators. Founded in 1835 by Chinese from Canton, it is said to be the largest Chinese sanctuary in southern Vietnam.The slow-burningincense creates a solemn, mystical atmosphere, symbolizing the sacred link between the earthly world and the spiritual realm.The fervent prayers accompanying this act of incenseoffering express a sincere desire for communion with the deities, weaving an intimate bond between believers and the divine.The image of wisps of fragrant smoke rising towards the sky captures the quintessence of this spirituality in motion.The aspirations and hopes of the faithful are carried by these spirals of incense, symbolizing the transcendence of earthly limits to touch the divine. Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
