Sunrise in Iceland

At the peak of summer solstice, nights are virtually non-existent in Iceland. Under these latitudes, sunrises and sunsets stretch on, blending seamlessly into one another. This photograph, captured at 3:23 AM in the south of Iceland, encapsulates the sublime beauty of the endless twilight.
The horizon burns with hues of gold and amber, where the sun hangs low, casting a warm glow across the vast volcanic plains. Meandering rivers of silver thread through the dark earth, like veins of light pulsing through the land. Jagged mountain silhouettes rise solemnly, their edges softened by the ethereal glow of dawn.
