Spiti Mountain

2009 – Spiti, Himalayas, India

The majesty and austerity of the Spiti mountains, 4200 meters above sea level. This wildly beautiful photograph transports the viewer to the heart of the Himalayan highlands, where nature reveals itself in all its grandeur. At the center of the image, the snow-capped mountain is lost in a dense, tormented sky. The immaculate snow-covered mountains are rendered with a grainy texture and striking contrasts, accentuating the rigor of this mineral landscape. Shades of white and gray, amplified by the black-and-white filter, reveal the mountain’s complex topography, every detail sculpted by wind and time. The sky, heavy and tumultuous, is streaked with menacing clouds that seem to move towards the mountain with an ominous slowness. Light, filtering through these cloud masses, plays a central role in the composition. A few timid, hesitant rays of sunlight pierce the clouds, creating beams of light that make their way between the shadows. This soft, piercing light creates a striking contrast with the density of the sky, adding a dramatic, mystical dimension to the scene.

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
