Renault 25 Pool Table

1984 – France

Dingo presents a scene as improbable as it is magnetic. Two women—evidently survivors of an accident—turn chaos into a playground: the overturned car becomes a life-sized billiard table, resting on the belly of a flipped Renault 25, its tires forming the corners of the green felt.

One of them lines up a shot with intense focus; the other, standing tall despite a bloodied thigh, strikes a pose—cue in hand—with a mix of triumph and irreverence. In the background, the wrecked vehicle and the winding road hint at the violence of the initial crash, while the dramatic sky and the Southern Alps frame the scene with tragic grandeur.

Dingo draws inspiration from a personal memory: after witnessing a collision between two drivers, he saw their furious argument suddenly dissolve—into a mysterious reconciliation, the two falling into each other’s arms. From that moment of absurdity came this image: an emotional three-cushion shot, where the accident becomes a metaphor for the game, and the crash, a prelude to connection.

The visual treatment is highly cinematic, flirting with surrealism. Textures—tarmac, twisted metal, green felt, bare skin—coexist in a tension that’s almost tactile.
With irony and tenderness, Dingo leaves us with a lingering question: what if reality were more absurd than fiction?

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
