Two armored truck guards, frozen and lost in a snowy countryside, try to warm themselves by a fire. But these are not ordinary logs they’re feeding the flames with… they are bundles of brand-new bills, thrown into the fire as if they were old newspapers being sacrificed. In the background, an open armored van with its torn bags serves as a testament to the paradox: everything is here, wealth, security… but it’s cold.

With this image, Dingo signs a modern fable, inspired by the famous gesture of Serge Gainsbourg burning a 500-franc bill on television. Here, he extends the act, de-dramatizes it, and transforms it into a scene of absurd and poetic survival. What is money worth in the face of cold? What does the system weigh against necessity?

The white snow, the diffused light, the dark uniforms of the guards, and the strange serenity of the setting lend the image the qualities of a winter tale. And yet, everything is deeply political: this fire nourishes as much as it questions. It illuminates as much as it destroys.

Dingo reminds us that value is never absolute, that the power of a bill does not surpass the warmth of a breath in a freezing night. It is a gentle yet relentless critique of our relationship with capital, comfort, and common sense.

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
