A Polaroid of the famous Parisian cabaret, the Moulin Rouge, a timeless symbol of the capital’s nightlife and artistic vibrancy. In this iconic image, the artist has superimposed a red Space Invaders, creating a striking interplay between tradition and modernity. The Space Invaders, reminiscent of the pixels in the eponymous video game that marked the artist’s career, stands out in bright red against the darker tones of the Moulin Rouge. This juxtaposition symbolizes the intrusion of digital technology into cultural heritage, transforming the cabaret into a living canvas where past and future converge. Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
