Hausmannian reflections on the Samaritaine

Architectural detail of the new Samaritaine, highlighting the ingenuity of architects Frantz Jourdain and Henri Sauvage. The focus is on the façade bordering Rue de Rivoli, where glass and steel blend harmoniously to create a modern, refined aesthetic. The delicately chiselleddouble skin of glass offers a unique perspective.It subtly reflects the details of the surrounding Parisian ornamentation, adding a touch of sophistication to its design.As the seasonal light changes, the façade seems to metamorphose its texture, revealing the subtleties of the structure.The distinctive curves of glass, inspired by the vertical openings of the Haussmann buildings on Rue de Rivoli, offer visual continuity with the surrounding urban fabric, integrating the building into the architectural landscape in an elegant and contemporary manner.

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
