Dingo plunges us into a scene that defies expectations and reinvents the use of urban and aquatic space. A man in a suit, the epitome of sophisticated nonchalance, sits comfortably in a modern armchair, telephone to his ear, as if in his living room. Yet this domestic scene takes place on a barge gently cruising the Seine in Paris. Beside him, a Jaguar E-Pace, a symbol of speed and contemporary luxury, sits proudly in contrast to the man’s quietude. In the background, the majestic Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral silently observes this anachronistic scene, as the barge heads towards the Pont Saint Louis. The combination of historic architecture, the tranquil waters of the Seine, and symbols of modernity (the car and the cell phone) evokes a reflection on the interplay between tradition and modernity in an urban setting. The barge itself, usually used to transport goods, becomes here an exhibition space, a floating living room where daily routine rubs shoulders with the extraordinary. In this daring composition, the artist revisits the urban everyday, transforming a simple journey into a floating scene of contemplation.
The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.
The framing is left to your discretion.
The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.
The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.
The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.
The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.
The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.
This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.
The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.
Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.
This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
