Lion (Panthera leo) Lipstick and Blackie, two magnificent emblems of the Masai Mara, now extinct.The African lion population has tragically collapsed in 50 years.From 100,000 to 25,000!The main culprit is, of course, man, who indiscriminately slaughters his prey, cultivates his hunting grounds and engages in poaching.In Kenya, hope is reviving, as the population of the king of the savannah has been steadily increasing in recent years.There are now over 2,500 of them, thanks to the Kenyan government’s efforts to protect them.The authorities have devoted particular attention to ensuring its survival.

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
