The artist plunges us into a dreamlike scene where past and present meet in a mysterious haze. The composition, based on several images and enriched with a custom filter, creates a timeless, evocative atmosphere, blending elements of modernity and tradition. In the background, the city emerges softly from the mist. The contours of the buildings are blurred, evoking both modernism with its straight lines and bold structures, and older charm with its ornate facades. This juxtaposition of ancient and contemporary architecture underlines the historical and cultural richness of the place, where each era seems to fit harmoniously into the urban landscape. In the foreground, a simple, humble boat is moored to the shore, adding a touch of tranquility and nostalgia to the scene. The boat, with its clean lines, evokes silent voyages and sailors’ tales of yesteryear. Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
