Coney Memory

2023 – Coney Island, New York, NY, USA

A scene in which past and present blend enigmatically and poetically. The work presents us with two blurred faces, one of an adult and the other of a child, seemingly materializing through a pane of glass. The bright, weathered colors, dominated by shades of green and blue, reinforce the sense of a memory emerging from oblivion. Here, the artist uses the technique of intentional degradation, creating cracks and stains on the image to evoke the inexorable passage of time. Far from detracting from the work, these marks enrich the composition by adding a unique texture and emotional depth. The Polaroid’ s imperfections symbolize the fragility of memory and the beauty of fleeting moments. The context of this image remains ambiguous, suggesting a family scene or an everyday moment captured in a bygone era. The barely discernible gaze of the figures seems to invite us to speculate on their history and the emotions they may have felt. Is this a photo found and reworked to reveal hidden layers of meaning, or an artistic reconstruction of an idealized past?

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
