2014 – Essaouira, Morocco
Through a glass door, a bar terrace transformed by bright, fluorescent hues. The white plastic tables and chairs, typical of café terraces, are bathed in a glow of fluorescent pink, creating a surreal, almost dreamlike atmosphere. The familiar shapes of the tables and chairs, though recognizable, are enhanced by this intense filter, giving them an almost luminescent quality. Each object seems to glow with its own pink light, adding a touch of modernity and eccentricity to the scene. Beyond, the terrace fence stands out in fluorescent blue and green. The lines of the barrier become colored strokes that visually segment the space, contrasting with the dominant pink tones. The fluorescent blue and green add a freshness and vivacity that complements the pink palette, creating a vibrant, dynamic composition. The overall effect is one of altered reality, where fluorescent colors transform an ordinary scene into an almost psychedelic vision .

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
