According to French law, photographs can qualify as artwork if they are taken by the artist, printed by them or under their supervision, signed, and numbered within the limit of 30 copies, across all formats and media.
Each print in our collection is an original artwork produced in a limited edition, accompanied by its certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by the author.

Art framing is a specialized process that enhances and protects your fine art photographic print. It uses high-quality materials and artisanal craftsmanship.
This is an essential step to ensure that the artwork is not only aesthetically presented but also protected from physical and environmental damage.

For both types of framing, we offer the following finishes: black wood, white wood, or natural wood: oak or wenge.

To create a visual depth effect, 1 cm of space is added on each side between the print and the frame, for a total of 2 cm.
The thickness of the black or white wood frames is 0.8 cm, totaling 1.6 cm.
The thickness of the oak or wenge wood frames is 1 cm on the front, totaling 2 cm.

The total size of your floating frame will depend on the type of frame selected.

We refer to a frame with mat or a matted frame; both terms mean the same thing.

To calculate the total dimensions of your print with the frame, you need to add:
– 14 cm of mat
– 4 cm for a wood frame or 1 cm of frame for an aluminum frame.

Yes, you have the option to fully customize your frame by choosing a specific type of wood, a particular color, or a frame style that is not listed on our website, such as a raised frame.

When placing an order on the gallery’s website, you will be asked to enter your contact details so that your account can be created.
An email will be sent to you with a link and a temporary password to access your account.

Your artwork will always be delivered with its certificate of authenticity. This certificate includes a reproduction of the artwork with its name, the print size, the printing method, the paper used, the print date, the print number out of 30 copies, the photographer’s name, and their signature, as well as a numbered and secure Hahnemühle hologram*.

A second hologram with an identical number will be affixed to the back of the print. This combination of a certificate and a hologram* guarantees the uniqueness of each artwork.

*The holograms are made using the same process as banknotes, making them impossible to forge due to the Hahnemühle watermark and fluorescent security fibers.

You can pay for your artwork by credit card
Visa/Mastercard/CB or via Paypal.

Bank transfers, checks, or cash payments are not accepted.

If you choose to pay via Paypal, you can select the installment payment option on their platform.

Payments on our site are fully secure thanks to the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption of your bank data.

Your invoice will be automatically emailed to you as a PDF when you place your order.
You can also find your invoice in your client account.
On PC/MAC, click on the “person” icon in the header, to the left of the flags, or on mobile, go to the bottom of the menu.

Then click on “Your orders” in the menu, and you will be able to download your invoice.
Please note: Your invoice will not be included in your package.

Since all orders on une-image-pour-rever.fr are customized by the client, the right of withdrawal does not apply.

We print your fine art print and craft your frame exclusively to order. You can modify or cancel your order as long as it has not gone into production. Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@une-image-pour-rever.fr.

When placing your order, simply select “Laboratory Pickup”. Once the order is confirmed, you will receive an email from us notifying you of the date when you can collect your artwork at:

An automatic email will be sent to you once your payment is confirmed.

A few days later, you will receive a second email informing you that your print has been made. If you have selected a framed option, a third email will be sent when the framing is completed, along with your delivery date.
Finally, a notification will be sent by SMS from the courier.

If you haven’t received anything, please check your spam folder and ensure you have provided the correct email address. If the issue persists, contact us at contact@une-image-pour-rever.fr for any inquiries regarding the delivery of your artwork.

We take special care in packaging your prints.
Each product comes with custom-made packaging to protect your artwork during transport.

All our frames are carefully packaged by our laboratory using protective paper, bubble wrap, and corner protectors. Our packaging boxes are custom-made and tailored to your photographs to ensure secure transport. Your artworks are delivered ready to hang.

Fine art prints are not kept in stock and are made to order. Production times depend on the chosen finishes and the availability of the photographer to supervise the printing and sign the certificate of authenticity.

On average, for mainland France and European Union countries:

• Delivery of a print: approximately 8 to 10 working days
• Delivery of a framed print: between 15 to 18 working days

If you ordered a print only:

• You will receive an email once your artwork is printed (approximately 5 working days).

Depending on your choice, it will be available for collection at our partner: Initial LABO, 62 Avenue Jean-Baptiste Clément, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt or shipped via a courier.

If you ordered a print with a floating frame or with mat and museum glass:

• You will receive a first email once your artwork is printed (approximately 5 working days).
• A second email will be sent when your artwork is framed (approximately 12 working days), including the delivery date.

Depending on your choice, your artwork will be available at Initial LABO, 62 Avenue Jean-Baptiste Clément, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt or shipped via the courier.

If shipped, a confirmation SMS will be sent.

• Collection at our partner lab:
  You will receive an email informing you of the date when you can collect your artwork at Initial LABO – 62 Avenue Jean-Baptiste Clément, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Home delivery:
  Our partner handles the shipping. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination:
  • 48 hours for mainland France
  • 72 hours for Europe

These times are given as estimates and may vary depending on the chosen finish and the order period.

• You will be contacted on the delivery day by SMS to ensure that you or someone trusted can receive your artwork at home.
• If unavailable on that day, you can reschedule the delivery once, within a 10-day period.

Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight, volume of the chosen artwork, and the destination country.
Delivery of an unframed fine art print is free within mainland France.

If the parcel has not yet been shipped, please contact us at contact@une.image.pour.rever.fr, and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Upon receiving your order, check the number of parcels delivered, their condition, and contents in the presence of the delivery person.
If you notice any damage to your prints during transport, you may refuse the parcels and specify the reasons for your refusal. Alternatively, if you accept them, clearly note your observations on the delivery note.

The note “subject to inspection” has no legal value and should not be used.

The delivery person may refuse to wait for the full unpacking of all parcels. In this case, please note this on the delivery note and take as many detailed photos of the parcels as possible.
