As a freelance professional photographer since 2005, Pierre Chancy discovered photography at an early age in the red light of a laboratory.
Fascinated by the magic of development, where lines, contrasts, shapes and life emerge in the developer bath, he was still unaware at high school that photography would become his mode of expression. Above all, Pierre loves to be surprised by a look, a landscape, a sky, a light.
He is passionate about the beauty of landscapes, moments in life and encounters.
Pierre’s photographs, often in large format, magnify nature, inviting us to travel and to contemplate its origins. Pierre’s photos distill the passion of the observer.
