The Belle of the Shantytown

Dingo hits hard. In the heart of a desolate lot strewn with random objects, he places an abandoned Bugatti, transformed into a makeshift shelter. Around it, a homeless man sits casually, bottle in hand, gazing at the sky with quiet irony—as if he’s made peace with this life of absurd dignity.

Everything in this scene is deliberately dissonant: the legendary car, ultimate symbol of luxury and rarity, now turned into a piece of slum furniture—draped with a sheet, adorned with a birdcage, flanked by a crooked lamp and a camp bed. In front of it, a surreal still life emerges: toilets, ropes, an open stovetop, a pair of worn boots—bathed in a dusty, poetic twilight.

This visual shock is anything but anecdotal. When the image was published, it triggered a flood of calls to the magazine—readers desperate to know where the scene had been staged. True to his approach, Dingo leaves the line between fiction and reality intentionally blurred. The illusion is crafted so convincingly, it becomes believable.

This piece playfully challenges the notions of value, prestige, and decay. It poses a simple yet powerful question: What is an object worth without its context?
By placing a Bugatti where no one expects it, Dingo shakes our assumptions, subverts the gaze, and reignites the imagination.

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
