1998 – France
In the summer of 1998, Yamaha launched a motorcycle that would become legendary: the R1, a concentrate of technology and aggression, designed for the track but homologated for the road. Dingo, however, discovered it in the aisles… of a hypermarket. A flash of inspiration, and the concept was born: bringing this racing beast into the most mundane everyday life — that of the Saturday shopping trip.
In this still image brimming with latent speed, an elegant woman checks her shopping list, calmly sitting on her Yamaha, hitched to a custom-made shopping cart. Everything is real: the motorcycle, the cart, the sterile decor of the fresh produce section. No montage. The technical feat required a custom blacksmith and a rare authorization from the supermarket to allow this fiction to take place in its ultra-real environment.
The pun takes shape: race bike, shopping bike. Dingo turns the world of sports motorcycles into an absurd everyday landscape, questioning the overpowering nature of speed in the face of the ordinary.
The flash lighting, cold and even, accentuates the theatricality of the scene: everything is neatly arranged, yet everything derails. The motorcycle becomes a household tool, and speed, a logistical accessory.

The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.
The framing is left to your discretion.

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.
The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.
The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.
The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.
The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.
The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.
Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.
This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
