End of me and beginning of us…

2000

This photograph by Dingo, true to his characteristic style that combines humor, surrealism and a touch of elegance, features an unexpected juxtaposition between mechanics and domestic chores. In a setting dominated entirely by shades of orange, a woman and a man bend over simultaneously, each absorbed in an opposite but strangely parallel task: the woman is immersed in the hood of a car, while the man is bent over the drum of a washing machine. The meticulously arranged set features a brick wall where every object is carefully colored to harmonize with the dominant orange palette: tools, accessories, hanging clothes, even fruit and cleaning products. This attention to chromatic detail creates a coherent and pleasing visual effect, reinforcing the ordered absurdity of the scene. Here, Dingo plays with gender stereotypes by reversing traditional roles, while placing them side by side in a familiar yet resolutely offbeat setting. His idea for this photograph was inspired by the arrival of women in previously male-dominated positions in the automotive industry. With his usual audacity and no-holds-barred approach, he celebrates this societal evolution by creating an image that not only breaks codes, but also feeds the eye and the heart. Dingo has never hesitated to shake up conventions and reinvent visual narratives, bringing a subtle poetry to every image he composes.

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
