Love me tender, true UFO

  • Photographer: ©

This photograph by Dingo captures an apocalyptic vision of Paris invaded by extraterrestrial forces, in the artist’s typical surreal, offbeat style. Here, the night sky, studded with stars and spaceships, serves as a backdrop to a scene of chaos and destruction: the Arc de Triomphe, perched on an imposing rocky peak, appears to be the last bastion of human civilization. The Eiffel Tower, in the background, stands stoic but isolated in this desolate landscape. The ground, meanwhile, is littered with piled-up, twisted carcasses, silent witnesses to vanished humanity.  Around the Arc de Triomphe, flying saucers whirl in an absurd ballet, exactly reproducing the movements of the cars that, before the invasion, circulated in this famous Parisian traffic circle. This extraterrestrial merry-go-round, in which the flying saucers follow the same circular trajectories as human motorists, underlines Dingo‘s fascination with this unique interchange. The contrast between these extraterrestrial invaders and their Earth-like behavior creates a comic yet unsettling effect, amplifying the surreal nature of the scene. The work makes us smile despite its dark theme, playing on the repetition of human behavior by invaders from elsewhere. It’s a picture where humor and the absurd combine to offer an offbeat, ironic vision of the apocalypse, true to Dingo ‘s singular style , where personal fascination becomes a backdrop for a broader reflection on the survival of customs in the face of the extraordinary.

Floating Frame

The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.

The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.

The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.

The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Frame with mat

This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.

The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.

Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.

This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
