Lion (Panthera leo) Looking together, in the same direction.The lion population has declined massively in recent years.The causes include human-animal conflict, hunting, poaching and habitat loss. The “Predator Compensation Fund” program of theBig LifeFoundation (BLF) is committed to protecting the lions of the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem in Kenya.This program aims to help the Maasai people who have settled there, by offering them compensation when it is proven that their livestock have been decimated by lions or other carnivores. TheBig LifeFoundation also encourages young warriors to take part in the Maasai Olympic Games. These offer an alternative to traditional lion hunting, while giving them a chance to prove their mettle. Instead of hunting lions, young men can demonstrate their stamina and dexterity at the Maasai Olympic Games.

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
