2023 – Paris, France
In the foreground, the elegant architecture of this pedestrian bridge, created in 1899 for theUniversal Exhibition, unfolds with a presence that is both majestic and discreet. Its metal curves, evocative of both solidity and lightness, seem to melt into a vibrant tableau of warm colorimetry reminiscent of a Parisian summer. The background is dominated by the iconic Eiffel Tower, whose silhouette rises majestically against the sky. Its metal structure, a symbol of ingenuity and elegance, stands out as the centerpiece of this visual composition. The photograph captures the timeless essence of this architectural gem, while highlighting the rich texture of the surrounding urban landscape. By chemically altering the texture and chroma of the image, André transforms the nature of his Polaroids, giving them a unique character. These alterations reinterpret the original image, recomposing it and giving it a singular new emotional depth: the beauty of imperfection.
The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.
The framing is left to your discretion.
The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.
The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.
The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.
The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.
The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.
This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.
The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.
Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.
This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
