A black and white photograph with exceptional textural richness, evoking the look of a classic etching through the use of a custom filter. This work captures a moment of everyday life above a tumultuous river, creating a juxtaposition between wilderness and human activity. In the foreground, the river flows from an impressive waterfall. The blur that envelops the scene accentuates the sensation of movement, transforming the water into a series of undulating lines and shapes that blend into the overall composition. Variations in gray, with their soft transitions and subtle contrasts, add dramatic depth while preserving the fluidity and energy of the aquatic scene. Above this dynamic river, an ancient bridge rises with understated majesty. The bridge ‘s structure , though blurred, remains present as an elegant silhouette that dominates the scene. On the bridge, we can make out the silhouettes of the inhabitants going about their business. Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
