2020 – Cotentin Marshes, Normandy, France
Standing in front of a large bay window, a man’s back seems lost in reverie as he observes the marsh and the picturesque village stretching out behind. The man’s dark silhouette stands out against the soft light that floods the landscape outside. The marsh, with its subtle nuances and varied textures, unfolds like a peaceful, serene expanse. The church steeple and village houses, their outlines slightly blurred by the etching effect, add a touch of charm and tranquility to the whole. The artist used a custom filter to work on the color and black & white, giving the image a texture reminiscent of an engraving or drawing. Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
