2021 – Rue de la Réunion, Paris
In this elegant composition, we are invited to plunge into a picturesque alleyway in old Paris, captured with a precision that evokes the delicacy of an antique engraving. The image shows us a stone staircase descending with almost timeless elegance towards the Rue de la Réunion. Each step blends into a subtle gradation of gray, accentuating the contrast between the clarity of the light emerging at the bottom of the stairs and the deep shadows enveloping the ascent. The custom filter applied to the photo gives the scene a texture similar to that of a charcoal drawing, where the lines are as sharp as the shadows are velvety. The light, both soft and penetrating, appears at the bottom of the stairs like a promise of discovery, illuminating the end of the path with an almost celestial clarity. This contrast between the luminosity below and the darkness above accentuates the symbolic journey represented by the descent, like a transition between the shadow of the past and the light of the future. Every detail of this work, from the wrought-iron balustrade to the worn cobblestones, is rendered with such finesse that you can almost feel the dampness of the stones beneath your feet. The whole captures not only the architectural beauty of this old Parisian neighborhood, but also the essence of a bygone era, inviting the viewer to a silent reverie about the stories hidden behind each step.
The different types of frames and finishes available
The print comes with its certificate of authenticity and a Hahnemühle hologram affixed to the back.
The framing is left to your discretion.
The floating frame, sleek and modern, is one of the preferred framing choices for contemporary art galleries and museums.
The floating frame perfectly enhances your photographic print.
The spacing between the frame and the image creates a floating effect and highlights the image, making it an ideal art frame to maximize the depth and elegance of the artworks in our collection.
The print is mounted on a 2 mm Dibond panel and placed in the frame.
The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.
This classic framing combines timeless elegance and sophistication, offering a sublime presentation for your most precious artworks and photographs. A wooden or aluminum frame, chosen for its simplicity and nobility, adds a touch of authenticity and refinement to your piece.
The mat, an essential element of this ensemble, enhances the artwork by creating a visual space around it. It highlights the details and nuances while adding extra depth. Carefully selected, it perfectly complements the artwork without overwhelming it, allowing every detail to stand out.
Finally, the museum glass, of exceptional quality, provides optimal protection against harmful elements such as dust, humidity, and UV rays. With its unmatched clarity and anti-reflective properties, it ensures perfect visibility from every angle, allowing your artwork to shine without distractions.
This harmonious ensemble transforms each piece into a masterpiece, ready to be admired and preserved for generations to come. Investing in a classic frame means choosing to enhance and protect what you cherish with unparalleled distinction.
