This photo, inspired by the world of Wim Wenders‘ films, reveals a female silhouette walking in bright sunlight, her shadow clearly projected on the ground.In the background, a Ryder truck and a desert landscape, punctuated by a few power poles and trees, stretch on forever, evoking the atmosphere of American road trips. By chemically altering the texture and chroma of the image, André transforms the nature of his Polaroids, giving them a unique character. These alterations reinterpret the original image by recomposing it, giving it a singular new emotional depth: the beauty of imperfection.

The depth of the floating frame is 4 cm, and the gap between the photograph and the inner edges of the frame is 0.8 cm for black or white finishes and 1 cm for wood finishes (Oak, Wenge, etc.). This arrangement creates a visually pleasing “floating” effect. Finally, a hanging system is attached to the back of the frame for a quick, easy, and secure installation.

Pigment inkjet print on Fine Art paper, supplied with Hahnemühle certificate of authenticity.
The print is laminated onto a 2 mm Dibond sheet and mounted in the floating frame to give it visual depth.
The Fine Art print is placed on neutral cardboard, then covered with a 7 cm beveled white mat and anti-reflective, UV-resistant museum glass, before being framed in black aluminum or wood (black, white, oak or wenge).
